Happy Valentine’s Baby Day.

Yes, that is what Jason said to me on Valentine’s Day. He does this thing where he makes whatever he says have ‘baby’ or ‘tiny’ or ‘mermaid’ or ‘princess’ in it. He says it will make me like it more. 🙂

What a fun Valentine’s holiday we had this year.

Saturday, we went up to the Roof for dinner. We got dressed up for a fun night out. I wore my fuchsia skirt that Jason bought for me for our engagement in Paris and my black dressy trench coat we got during our last trip to Vegas. He wore his black suit.

Jason took me to a shop before dinner and bought me the most gorgeous sparkly black crystal bracelet.

Dinner was amazing. We walked in and Jason had flowers waiting for me at the table. We could see the Salt Lake temple right outside the window, surrounded my fog. It was gorgeous.

They had so many desserts. We tried almost all of them. I don’t remember the last time I was that full after eating. We both almost felt sick afterwards. Hahaha. Oh well. It was worth it.

On Sunday, the 14th, we went to church and then came home. I put out Jason’s gifts on the table: his favorite chocolate bars, chocolate candy, a couple’s massage with sparkling cider and strawberries at the spa later this week and a movie night with treats to the new Sugarhouse movie theater. It’s been redesigned to be a deluxe theater with big reclining double seats, dinner and more.

I also gave him a copy of my patriarchal blessing. It is so specific about my future husband and talks about him so much! It is so special to me. Jason has never read it before, so I thought Valentine’s Day would be the perfect time for him to read it.

I am so happy. And so grateful for Jason.
